After nearly 10 years of experience, our founder Aria has become a knowledgeable guide. She has trained as a ‘Missoko Bwiti Maboundi’ (the West African Bwiti being the indigenous community using plant medicines for centuries). In fact, she is now the only medicine woman in the world to have full permission from a 10th-generation Bwiti Nima (High Shaman) to serve kambo as a complement to iboga. She is recognized by these Shamans as fully initiated into the tradition and safety that is required to serve these medicines. Aria has also initiated and lived with Amazonian communities, such as the Shipibo in Peru or the Quechua in Ecuador, to learn to administer their plant medicines.
All of this experience with the indigenous protectors of these medicines has made Aria a very skilled practitioner. She works with people from a broad set of backgrounds and needs: as a life coach; as an addiction and mental health specialist; and as an integration specialist.
