The Casa Galactica Multi-Dimensional Center for Healing & Evolution is set amidst the lush Sacred Valley of Peru. We provide online private sessions and in-person ceremonies and retreats for dedicated inner-truth seekers and multi-dimensional healers. Meet Jamie & Michael Thornhill, co-founders of Casa Galactica in Peru with over 20 years of combined experience of holding safe, empowering & trauma-informed spaces for Healing & Evolution.

We help inner-truth seekers release the pain of the past, empower their healing, activate their intuition, and embody their truth. We specialize in helping people healing from trauma, PTSD, addiction, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety and other symptoms of separation/trauma. Processes

Substance sourcing

  • Ayahuasca: our ayahuasca is sourced from Iquitos in the Amazon rainforest from a reliable source that we personally know from our time living and working there. Our ayahuasca brew is pure ayahuasca and chakruna, the safest form of the medicine. It is potent, reliable and consistent and the favourite medicine we have come across in all of our time working with ayahuasca.
  • Bufo Alvarius: The Bufo Alvarius medicine or “Toad Poison” is harvested by Bufo Alvarius healers from Comcaac Seri Community in the Sonoran Desert, Mexico. The toad poison is extracted with care and consideration, by gently pushing on the paratoid glands behind the eyes, and squeezed onto a piece of piece of glass. It is dried overnight ready for administration in a Bufo Alvarius ceremony from the next day onwards. It is safe to extract half of the poison from the toad without harm, so that it can continue to defend itself in the wild after being re-released back into its natural habitat in the Sonoran Desert.

Accommodations

Based in the heart of the Andean Mountains in the Sacred Valley of Peru, we have 6 private rooms to choose from, spread over 2 facilities. Three private rooms are available within our main house, and 3 private rooms are provided by the Amak Center, just 5-7 minute walk from our home.

Each private room is furnished with the utmost care and love, and with your absolute peace, comfort and relaxation in mind. Each room hosts a luxurious queen size bed, 2 memory foam pillows, 1 duvet, 2 additional blankets, a writing desk and chair, a personal meditation cushion, a yoga mat, a dresser, a place to hang your clothes and an electric space heater.

Escape to a world of blissful slumber in our comfortable bedroom retreat. Soft linens, gentle lighting, and a touch of elegance create the perfect cocoon for rest and rejuvenation here at Casa Galatica in The Sacred Valley, Peru.
Each private room is furnished with the utmost care and love, and with your absolute peace, comfort and relaxation in mind.

Across our facilities we have 6 shared bathrooms with gas powered hot water, comfortable shared spaces both inside and out of the house to enjoy warmth by the fire of the mesmerizing views of the Andean mountains from the gardens. The buildings are traditional adobe bricks with modern design & furnishings.

Our beautiful high ceiling ceremony space with natural wooden floors and views out to the mountains, is at the heart of all of our work. Here we we hold all of our ayahuasca ceremonies, bufo alvarius ceremonies, qigong classes, meditations and group channeled workshops!

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival

o Arrive at the designated retreat location in the Netherlands or Portugal.

● Explanation of the session's structure.

Day 2 :
Preparation and Setting Intention

● Warm-up with body, movement, breathing, and grounding exercises.

● Re-Cap of the themes and focus of the content of explorations.

● Setting the intention for the session.

● Introduction to the use of blindfolds during the journey.

Day 3 :
Psilocybin-Assisted Session

● Journey lasts about 6 hours.

● Guided therapeutic-oriented journey.

● Creative Expression and note-taking during and after the session.

● Interim Days: Integration and Reflection

● Online Integration Sessions in between in-person sessions.

● Reflect on the experiences and insights gained during the psilocybin-assisted session.

● Explore creative expression methods to process and integrate the journey.

● Repeat Psilocybin-Assisted Sessions

● Depending on the program structure, repeat psilocybin-assisted sessions may occur over the course of the retreat.

● Closing and Integration

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Due to the intimate nature of our retreats, our retreats are non-refundable, we require participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance upon booking the retreat

How do you calculate dosage of plant medicine and substances?

All medicine dosages are intuitively guided within the principles of trauma-informed care, based upon the participants intake form-health and wellness screening and mutual agreement with the participants.

On our ayahuasca retreats the first ayahuasca dosage in the first ceremony is a conservative amounts of quarter cup with opportunity for a second dosage later in the ceremony. Each ceremony has up to two dosages of ayahuasca. From this second dosage and dosages in subsequent ceremonies, participants are encouraged to decide their own dosage which we ensure are within the realms of safety and trauma informed care. Particpants are always reminded that they do not need to drink all the ayahuasca served them into the cup.

Bufo Alvarius dosages are intuitively guided, within the principles of trauma-informed care, mutually agreed and weighed out in-front of the participant. Full dosages are between 40-50mg depending on the participant and mutual agreement. If a smaller /non-full dosage is wanted then this is also available to participants.

How do guests get to your retreat and/or place of business?

If you are joining us from an international location, you will need to fly into Lima Airport and then get a connecting flight to Cusco Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.

If you are participating in one of our 8-day Ayahuasca Healing & Evolution Retreats, then pickup and return to Cusco Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in included in your retreat and we will be in contact with you to arrange this transportation.

If you are joining us for any of our other programs that do not include an airport transfer and would like us to arrange a taxi for you direct to our door, please contact us and we will be happy to do so for a supplemental charge of $25 plus a transportation cost of 130 Peruvian Soles.
