Zion Life psilocybin day retreat in Discovery Bay, Jamaica, is run by Stephanie Barnwell, an indigenous Gullah Geechee from the Sea Islands of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, South Carolina. If you want to avoid hustle and bustle, tourist crowds, and typical resort vacationers then Zion Life was meant for you. The max capacity per retreat is 2 guests.
Located on the east end of Jamaica near a gorgeous stretch of beach, Zion Life is a veteran & minority owned business. They offer private retreats to renew your mind, body, and soul in a beautiful, eco-friendly, tranquil, serene setting.
When you arrive at Zion Life, facilitators and other psilocybin retreat participants welcome you. The goal is to provide you with the time to pose your questions to the staff and familiarize yourself with the retreat grounds. Additionally, there is time to discuss your intentions, focus on what you’re looking to take away from the experience, and answer your questions.
Zion Life is owned are operated under the care and supervision of licensed medical professionals. Each retreat has an onsite nurse 24 hrs a day during the entire treatment. Zion Life offers a unique transformational environment to assist in the healing of physical, mental, and emotional traumas with psilocybin mushrooms.
A nurse with 16 years of experience, Stephanie Barnwell is an African American veteran, woman and indigenous Gullah Geechee.
Stephanie combines her indigenous knowledge with close to twenty years of Licensed Practical Nursing experience in order to offer customized options to meet people where they are in life, holding space for them while guiding them on their journey.
Begin your second day by waking up to meditation or doing some stretching and/or breathwork sessions offered so you can ground yourself. Then, later that evening you’ll get to experience the power of the psychedelic mushroom where you’ll be given a high dose of psilocybin. The typical psilocybin experience lasts four to six hours, allowing you to let go in a serene and safe setting.
On your third and fourth days at Zion, the focus will be on the integration of the experience of the psilocybin ceremony. At Zion, we devote the third day to spending extensive time processing and integrating all that occurred the prior day. The goal is to make sure you carry the transformative breakthroughs and insights with you when you get on the plane home.
