Operation: Heal Our Heroes is a psilocybin retreat in Hawaii geared towards Veterans, First Responders, and Medical Professionals with PTSD, Depression, or Trauma. Anyone over the age of 20 and under 70, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. as long as they are in good physical health.

We welcome everyone.

Our retreat is unique because we want to help heal those who have devoted their lives to helping others. We are not in this to make money. We are in this to provide help and healing so that those who serve or have served others can return to the world ready to continue their mission and purpose in life.

My husband and I are both veterans and we started Healing Our Heroes Foundation because we felt called to find a way to bring healing to those who have been left behind. Our veterans, first responders and medical professionals are often forgotten and neglected after experiencing or witnessing death and trauma. Our organization comprises people with open hearts devoted to helping others. My purpose in this world is to promote love and kindness to others, and I think by helping those who have devoted their lives to helping others, we are promoting and fulfilling that purpose.

Our Processes

Substance Sourcing

Ketamine from a pharmacy.

Intake and Screening Process

Everyone will have an appt with both the psych NP and the CRNA for a pre retreat evaluation. Once they pass those two screenings they will meet with the retreat facilitator.

Preparation Process

Everyone meets with the retreat facilitator to discuss their goals and set expectations for the retreat.

Ceremonies

  • We will start the first night with a traditional Hawaiian ceremony to welcome everyone to the retreat.
  • Then the next morning we will wake up and get ready for our first ceremony with breathwork, yoga, and meditation.
  • Then everyone will get their blood pressure checked and a quick check in with our medical staff to make sure everyone is feeling good.
  • Once that is done everyone will get the medicine. During the medicine people will have different recommended music to listen to.
  • After the medicine everyone will be given time to process and relax before we break our fast with a brunch.
  • Then we will begin our integration circle and then have some free time.
  • We will meet back in the evening for a meal, another integration circle, and then a fire and singing. Each day will be slightly different.

Integration

Our retreat facilitator is an expert in helping people integrate their Ketamine experiences. People will have both 1:1 and group integration experiences.

Accommodations

We have a large retreat house that has 5 bedrooms, one large room that can sleep several people, a tent option as well. There is a large room for doing group work, a living area for relaxing, firepit, nature trails.

FAQs

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation for full refund up until 14 days in advance. 14 days in advance 75% refund until 72 hours in advance. 72 hours in advance 25% refund until 24hours in advance then no refund. Reschedule due to illness can happen at any time if needed.

How do you calculate dosage of plant medicine and substances?

The dosage is calculated on a person by person basis by our medical team.

What is not included in the cost of your services?

Flights to Kona Airport Big Island is not included in the cost of the retreat. There will be transportation from the airport to the retreat center which might require a small additional fee.

How do guests get to your retreat and/or place of business?

Fly to Honolulu and then to Kona airport on Big Island. A van will pick everyone up from the airport on Big Island and take everybody back on the last day.
