Ascension offers Psilocybin mushroom retreats in Oaxaca Mexico, one of the most majestic places on Earth. The brainchild of Gerardo Urias, author of Taking Back My Mind: My Journey Out of Depression with Psilocybin Mushrooms, Ascension focuses on cleansing your mind, body, and soul.
Ascension Retreats are for all walks of life, from someone who has just gone through hardship to the CEO who has lost the spark in life. We help put you back on track and teach you how to harness your inner strength and power to manifest your dreams. Healing encompasses every aspect of life and human being on Earth. We love creating safe spaces for intimate, powerful experiences, and witnessing deep transformations every time!
Our retreats are for ages 21 and up, for all humans aside from a few medical exceptions. Anyone can benefit from attending our retreats.
With traditional Zapotec healers at the core of the Ascension team, Ascension’s retreat center is situated on a beautiful organic farm at a high altitude in the Sierra Sur mountains of southern Oaxaca, in Mexico. Our accommodations are built out of natural materials and are comfortable, featuring private bathrooms, hot showers, patios, as well as fireplaces. A yoga room, temazcal (heated earth sauna), restaurant, as well as many surrounding outdoor features such as hiking trails and nearby waterfalls complement your experience.Our interdisciplinary healing programs will help you liberate yourself from the limitations of your mind and help shed dysfunctional behaviors and thoughts as you welcome in a new way of life, a new perspective of your yourself, your world, and your place in it.
By creating intimate, powerful, and sacred containers in natural settings and sharing our multifaceted, interdisciplinary healing programs, workshops, and expertise in a community cultivating environment, the Ascension Retreat team wishes to step into the divine path of healing, in turn helping to heal our world, one person at a time.

Additionally, we have medical staff on-site, and retreat staff have first aid training.
