Malabar magic mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis Malabar) are a moderate potency species, so it is a great for beginner users, with mixed mental and physical effects such as bodily vibrations, visual hallucinations, and euphoria. The Malabar species was first discovered on the Southeastern Malabar Coast of India, and grows large fruiting bodies caramel to light brown in colour with sizeable white stipes.

The history of magic mushrooms in Indian culture can be traced back to 1500 BC. In the Rigveda, one of four sacred texts part of Hindu and Zoroastrian traditions; a reference to a substance called Soma. In one reference it states: “We have drunk Soma and become immortal; we have attained the light, the Gods discovered.”
