Overview
Inwardbound invites you for a 5 day private psilocybin retreat near Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Taking place in a unique and authentic 19th-century Dutch abbey, a perfect environment in which to expand your consciousness.
This peaceful location offers plenty of opportunities for reflection and meditation. You can walk in the forest park that surrounds the abbey or use the chapel. You will have much time to connect with other participants in the many communal rooms at the center. Or you can find peace and solitude in your private room.
The setting makes for intimate, group-oriented sessions. We complement our programming with a range of activities designed to maximize your stay. And we affect lasting change in your life through re-integration after the retreat.
Preparation includes an interview call with medical screening, a welcome pack outlining what to expect, a video call group introduction circle, as well as a 1 on 1 preparative consultation with a psychotherapist.
The retreat itself is 5 days in length, with 4 nights spent in either private or shared accommodations. Transportation from Amsterdam to and from the abbey is also included. We keep our groups relatively small, up to 12 participants, to ensure maximum personal care and optimal group dynamics. Three full-time facilitators are present to maximize individual care and attention to all participants. All meals are prepared by a professional chef and our ingredients are vegetarian, organic, and local (when possible). A vast array of supporting activities, such as yoga, qi gong, breathing workshops (e.g., Pranayama, Wim Hof), art therapy and mandala work to name but a few.
Re-integration consists of a 1 on 1 integrative consultation with a psychotherapist, a video group integration circle (Zoom video call), an integration workbook, as well as lifetime access to our monthly Inwardbound Psychedelic Integration Group chat. Custom follow-up options and referrals are also available.
To ensure healing is open to people from all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, Inwardbound offers one scholarship for every group retreat on an as-needed basis, based on our discretion.
At Inwardbound, our interdisciplinary team, spanning both traditional and science-based approaches, believes in weaving together the threads of both approaches, knowing that the two ways are one. We look forward to welcoming you in our beautiful abbey and helping you on your journey!
