Trip Report: Penis Envy

I can honestly report that this Penis Envy trip was probably the most profound and transformative trip of my entire life. This was also the first time I tried Penis Envy magic mushrooms. I had the largest dose I’ve ever taken and I typically like to space my trips out every 3-4 months. With my recent interest in shamanism and the “spirit world”, I’ve been very intrigued by the whole concept. As I prepared my setting with my notebook and water, I wrote down my objectives for the trip in hopes that it helps me in everyday life and aid in my understanding of humanity It was about an hour before the mushrooms really started to take a hold of me, and right away I knew that this one would be a pretty intense ride. I begin my trip focusing intently on my breath in order to focus the intensity and and trip peak. Visions started with my world falling to pieces, with my intimate relationships crumbling like ancient ruins, but despite the chaos, all seemed fine , think of the lyrics from Steely Dan’s Any Major Dude

Any minor world that breaks apart falls together again

As my consciousness separated from my physical being, I felt transported to another dimension of space and time; an endless series of fractal patterns. I felt I could sync with the minds of other creatures as boundaries were transcended .

Slowly, I began come down and my surroundings became recognizable; my living room began to reassemble before my eyes and the background music permeated to my core of me as I danced until an intense vomiting episode brought things to a messy, yet peaceful resolve.
