Healing is our mission. To heal, one must look inside themselves, deeply and honestly. Why are you stuck? What is holding you back? Ayahuasca can help you unlock these mysteries, creating a platform for you to address them. We will re-orient your focus to the positive, the possible, and the dynamic. You do not need to be stuck in your life, you can evolve, and find the inner peace and happiness that we all seek throughout our lives.

Shamballa Ayahuasca Retreats are designed to support your inner healing and introspection. Our team is highly experienced and prepared for any eventuality. You need only think of your own journey. Nervousness is normal and not something to be embarrassed about, we can help guide you through this process.

Many of our retreats are female-only and designed to be nurturing and inspiring while creating a safe and secure community. Sexual activity is a draw of energy away from your goal, and is best to be avoided, both before your journey and while you are with us. No cheating!

Which psychedelics do you use at Shamballa Retreats?

At Shamballa Retreats we make use of:

– Ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi): Contains the alkaloid harmine, which has MAO-inhibiting properties, making it a key ingredient in the preparation of Ayahuasca. It is consumed for its spiritual, therapeutic and visionary effects, often inducing intense introspection, hallucinations, and emotional purging.

– Chacruna (Psychotria viridis): Contains DMT and is native to the Amazon rainforest. It is used along with the Ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi), to brew Ayahuasca. The DMT in Chacruna is considered the main active ingredient in the Ayahuasca brew,

All the medicine is 100% brewed in the Peruvian jungle to meet the needs of our shaman.

What is a Shaman?

A shaman is a spiritual practitioner who bridges the physical and spiritual worlds. They use various tools such as icaros, mantras, music, voice, presence, silence, drum, flute, etc. to interact with the language of the Ayahuasca spirit world.
A good shaman is a being with a strong connection to the spirit world, possessing qualities such as cleanliness, psychological knowledge, musical abilities, humility, and compassion. They are friends and siblings to those they help.
